Wonderful Whales
Children 15 months and older
30 minute class
Group Ratio (3:1)

Summary: This class has the same skills as the Delightful Dolphins, but is a much gentler approach. This class is appropriate for a beginner or young child with little or no experience in the water, where the parents would like a slower paced class. This class will emphasize repetition at the pace of the child, and may include play between skills. The children will learn introductory skills, learn safety skills, utilize water toys, and most importantly, have fun! All classes will have a few minutes at the end of class for the children to enjoy a ride or skill so they may end their lesson on a fun note!
 

Delightful Dolphins
Children 15 months and older
30 minute class
Group Ratio (3:1)

Summary: This class teaches the same skills as the Wonderful Whales, but it is set at a faster pace. This class is appropriate for a child who may have experience and is comfortable in the water, but not as comfortable with an instructor instead of their parent. The instructor will remain fun but firm about children learning the skills. This class is a good match for parents who would like to see a quicker progression and less play. All classes will have a few minutes at the end of class for the children to enjoy a ride or skill so they may end their lesson on a fun note!

This class is equivalent to the beginner classes we have taught seasonally to hundreds of families within Summer Splash in past years.

Magnificent Manatees
30 minute class
Group Ratio (3:1)

Summary: This class is for children who have completed the Delightful Dolphins and/or Wonderful Whale Levels, which gave them an introduction to water skills. The class will focus on independent skills. The goal of this class will be for the child to swim unassisted and be able to take a breath either by popping up and continuing to swim or by rolling and continuing to swim. All classes will have a few minutes at the end of class for the children to enjoy a ride or skill so they may end their lesson on a fun note!

Super Stingrays
30 minute class
Group Ratio (4:1)

Summary: This class is for children who can swim on their stomachs unassisted with 3 consecutive breaths. This class will focus on implementing side breathing the length of the pool as well as introducing the child to several new skills. All classes will have a few minutes at the end of class for the children to enjoy a ride or skill so they may end their lesson on a fun note!

Racing Devil Rays
30 minute class
Group Ratio (4:1)

Summary: This class is designed for children to learn all four major strokes and to master them. Once all four strokes are mastered they will receive a workout to benefit health and endurance, they will also work on the same skills as a swim team or club but in a class atmosphere. All classes will have a few minutes at the end of class for the children to enjoy a ride or skill so they may end their lesson on a fun note!

ALOHA Aquatic Center is happy to offer two different programs for the convenience of all of our customers! We offer both a Monthly Membership Program and a Sessions Program.
 

Monthly Membership Program

ALOHA Aquatic Center is a year-round program. We offer lessons once a week to conveniently fit your busy schedule and to retain and build our students’ swimming skills. Our once a week lessons are based on a Monthly Membership. Our once-a-week lessons are offered Monday through Saturday during business hours.

ALOHA Aquatic Center operates on a continuous enrollment system. This allows you to modify class schedules to meet you and your child’s needs. Tuition will be pro-rated where necessary depending on the start date. ALOHA Aquatic Center requires that all students commit to at least 8 lessons. We believe that it is unfair to both the child and the Instructor to “try” a lesson. Children learn best from repetition, and to begin that sequence and not follow through would be similar to saying its nap time, but never putting them down. After starting/stopping lessons once it will be much more difficult the second time. You will remain enrolled in our program until we receive a withdrawal form at least 30 days in advance, indicating the participants last day in the program and the reason for leaving. Registration fees are re-implemented if there is any lapse in enrollment.

** $58 per child, per month

**Class ratio is 3 or 4 children per instructor (ratio dependant on class level).

Personalized Lessons:

After 7 years of accommodating thousands of families through our Summer Splash Swim Program, ALOHA Aquatic Center would like to continue to offer you personalized lessons for an alternative to traditional lessons. All of our instructors are trained and are exceptional at teaching different levels of students in the same class.

Personalized lessons allow you to customize your lessons with the number of children, siblings, friends or relatives, that you would like in your class. If you choose to do personalized lessons you are responsible for assembling all members of those lessons. All participants of those lessons must submit their paperwork and payment within 48 hours of reservation or the entire class will be dropped from the schedule, NO exceptions.

Fees:

Four Children: $58 per child, per month
Three Children: $65 per child, per month
Semi-Private (2 Children): $75 per child, per month
Private: $121, per month

Registration Fee:

A registration fee of $25 will be assessed to each child at the time of registration. As long as a child remains continuously enrolled in any one of our programs the Registration fee will not be added to any new classes that child may take. Once a child leaves our program completely, for any amount of time, they become inactive in our system and therefore will be assessed the registration fee again upon re-enrollment into any of our programs.
 

Multiple Student Discount:

A $5 discount will be given to each additional child in the immediate family enrolled in the Monthly Membership Program only. There are no discounts given to participants in our Session Program.
 

Class Cancellation:

ALOHA Aquatic Center has the right to cancel any class that is not to capacity or ratio. If this occurs ALOHA Aquatic Center will offer you alternative days or times for your lessons.

Make-up Lessons:

At ALOHA Aquatic Center we are happy to offer one make-up lesson per eight lessons regardless of the program in which you are enrolled, NO exceptions. ALOHA Aquatic Center must have prior knowledge of the child’s absence in order for a make-up lesson to be granted. If the Office is not notified before a child misses class all make-up class rights are waived. Make-up lessons will be scheduled into on going classes, therefore, the month, day and time are not guaranteed. There will no make-up lessons for make-up lessons. If you forget your scheduled make-up or the make-up lesson you scheduled does not work, we cannot allow you to re-schedule.

At ALOHA Aquatic Center we understand life gets busy with family and kids. We would be more than happy to schedule your make-up swim lessons when situations arise as long as you contact us prior to the missed lesson. There will be no make-ups for make-ups. Sessions Program:

ALOHA Aquatic Center also offers four fast-paced; 4-week sessions where children attend class two days a week. We only offer these sessions in the Spring and Summer months for the convenience of our hundreds of current clients who prefer this style of teaching, which we have been doing for seven years, and for our new clients who would like to try this style of lessons. These sessions are designed to get your child ready for the popular swimming months quickly. The sessions consist of 8; 30-minute lessons TWICE a week on either Mondays & Wednesdays or Tuesdays & Thursdays.

These lessons will only be conducted at certain times of the day and are based on a first come, first serve basis, so we do not guarantee availability. Please ask one of our Friendly Office Staff members for the availability of these sessions.

After the spring and summer months you may choose continue with us in our Monthly Membership program to retain and build your child’s skills year-round. As long as attendance from a session to a weekly program remains continuous, without any lapse, the registration fee will not be assessed again.

ALOHA Aquatic Center tries to keep a child with the same instructor throughout their lessons. However, circumstances beyond our control may require a different teacher to be assigned. We cannot guarantee a specific Instructor; however, all of our Instructors are extremely caring and well trained individuals who care about every child’s success in our program.

Our Session Program will be during the months of April, May, June and July only. The dates for 2008 are as follows:
