School of Fishies (Parent/Toddler Class)

• 30 minute class
• Adult must accompany child

Summary: Parent and child join other couples and an instructor for a class full of fun, songs, introduction to basic water skills, and bonding! This is an introductory class to help with introducing child to water and skills. If your child is 15 months or older, you may choose to enroll Him/Her in a non-parent Dolphin Class or several Aloha Families have chosen to transfer their child to another class after particpating in this one for a month or two.

Summary: This class teaches introductory skills. This class will go over and master several skills, but the "goal" to graduate is unassisted swimming 3-4 feet. This class is appropriate for a child who has little to no experience. We will place participants with appropriate age levels. All classes will have a few minutes at the end of class for the children to enjoy a ride or skill so they may end their lesson on a fun note! Don't forget about the treasure box on your way out!

Summary: This class is also a beginner level, similar to Dolphins I. The goal for this class is to be able to do "fishy" circles unassisted from side of wall as well as from steps. This is the appropriate level for a child who has mastered unassisted swimming (with or without arms) in a very short distance in a straight line but needs to practice getting His/Her kicks up when turning. The goal of this class is for the child to get back to the wall and or step unassisted before graduating levels. All classes will have a few minutes at the end of class for the children to enjoy a ride or skill so they may end their lesson on a fun note! Don't forget about the treasure box on your way out!

*Learn*Build*Retain*

ALOHA Aquatic Center is a year-round program. We offer lessons once a week to conveniently fit your busy schedule and to retain and build our students’ swimming skills. We also offer lessons twice a week for families who prefer more than one lesson per week. Our lessons are offered Monday through Saturday during business hours. We highly recommend our monthly (once a week) lessons for beginners to learn, build, and retain skills.

ALOHA Aquatic Center operates on a continuous enrollment system for our monthly families. Our Aloha Monthly Families enjoy unlimited makeups, as long as we have PRIOR knowledge of absence, fun and free periodic activities (such as Family Swim), and being an Aloha Family!

Monthly Families can register anytime that there is availability within the class. You may call and schedule a FREE TRIAL class. If registration is mid-month, that month will be prorated. There is a 2 month minumum commitment in our monthly program. Classes are generally scheduled once a week (unless client indicates they would like to schedule for more days a week) and are billed once a month. Payment is made for two months while registering. Aloha Families stay one month ahead, thus when you submit withdrawal notice (available online or at the front desk), payment has already been made for last month(s).

Fees:

$48 per child, per session for the School of Fishies ONLY- this class is offered in a session of dates, with no makeups of missed classes
** $65 per child, per month for one day a week
**$114 per child, per month for two days a week
$5 OFF PER SIBLING DISCOUNT PER SIBLING ENROLLED

**Class ratio is 3 or 4 children per instructor (ratio dependant on class level).

Semi-Private (2:1) and Private (1:1) Lessons:

Aloha Aquatic Center does offer private and semi-private lessons. Please call for our current rates and scheduling options. Sibling discounts do apply for semi-privates.

Registration Fee:

A registration fee of $25 will be assessed to each child at the time of registration. As long as a child remains continuously enrolled in any one of our programs the Registration fee will not be added to any new classes that child may take. Once a child leaves our program completely, for any amount of time, they become inactive in our system and therefore will be assessed the registration fee again upon re-enrollment into any of our programs.

Class Cancellation:

ALOHA Aquatic Center has the right to cancel any class that is not to capacity or ratio. If this occurs ALOHA Aquatic Center will offer you alternative days or times for your lessons.

Make-up Lessons:

At ALOHA Aquatic Center we are happy to offer unlimited make-up lessons. ALOHA Aquatic Center must have prior knowledge of the child’s absence in order for a make-up lesson to be granted. If the Office is not notified before a child misses class all make-up class rights are waived. Make-up lessons will be scheduled into on going classes, therefore, the month, day and time are not guaranteed. There will no make-up lessons for make-up lessons. If you forget your scheduled make-up or the make-up lesson you scheduled does not work, we cannot allow you to re-schedule.  Makeups must be used prior to any ending date, makeups can never be used as "credits" for lessons or be used after you are no longer a active Aloha Family.
