Why is there a minimum of 2 months for Monthly Program and 8 lessons for the Session Program? |
|
At ALOHA Aquatic Center we believe it is unfair to both the child and us to not commit to an amount of lessons that the child can begin learning the skills. Eight lessons is the minimum amount that, on average, you can see progression. For each Child progression differs...for one it may be swimming the entire pool and for another it may be feeling comfortable putting His/Her face in. Like anything, every child is different and learns on their individual basis. Children learn best from repetition, and to begin that sequence and not follow through would be similar to saying its nap time, but never putting them down. After starting/stopping lessons once it will be much more difficult the second time. Therefore you must commit to a minumum of two months in our monthly program and 8 lessons in our session program. |

What if I join in the middle of a month? |

Monthly Program - If you join in the middle of the month your account will be pro-rated based on the number of lessons remaining in the month. Session Program - your session will be prorated. |

How do I withdraw my child from class? |
|
Aloha Monthly Program Families: Give us at least a 30 day written notice of your desired end date by filling out a withdrawal form. Please note that if you are submitting withdrawal after tuition (ex: 5th of the month, tuition is the 3rd) you are paid up for more then 30 days and may continue coming but will not be billed again. Aloha Aquatic Center does not offer refunds or credits of any kind. We will assist you with the withdrawal form, available at the front desk or here. You may drop off a withdrawal request with the Front Desk. No makeups or credits can be issued. Please complete any makeups prior to the last scheduled lesson as the system will drop the Child out completely to allow for any waiting lists to be opened up. You will receive a thank you e-mail from us and your child(ren) will receive a prize on their last lesson. Aloha Session Program Families: Sessions have a begin and end date, and are pre-paid in full. You are not enrolled for any more sessions then what you registered and paid in full for. Your child(ren)'s last lesson will be the last lesson date of the session. Aloha! We will miss you! Thank you for allowing us the honor of swimming with your family!
