We are located on the East Side of Val Vista Road, North of Guadalupe, South of Baseline (South of Val Vista Lakes Community).  We are only a few miles north of our older location!

Currently, this is our only location we offer swim lesson and services, we do not offer lessons or services at our old Pecos Location.

What should I bring to class?

All children potty training or not yet fully potty trained must have a double up diaper during lessons, one disposable diaper and then a reusable diaper over the disposable under their swimsuit. We do not recommend goggles for beginners due to learning safety skills in Arizona. Learning safety skills without goggles is important should an accident occur outside of lessons. Once your child has mastered the beginning safety skills, if you choose to bring your own goggles, please have them adjusted to fit your child. Please do not bring floatation suits, floatation devices, “water wings”, scuba masks, or any other aquatic device that might hinder your child’s education of water skills.

Bring a swimsuit, towel, and be ready to have some fun while learning! Don't forget to visit the Aloha Treasure Chest on your way out, we want your kids to know that Aloha says "Great Job!"

You're welcome to come early or stay late and play in the playroom!

What if my child cries or is afraid?

Many of our Aloha Teachers are parents too! All of our Teachers love kids! It pulls on our "heart strings" too, to see a unhappy child. We know that as the other hundreds of kids we have had the priviledge to teach, your Child, too will be giggly and happy to see us in no time! It just takes a few lessons. Please remember that the frown (and tears) does not come from the liking or not liking the Teacher rather the uncertainty and unknowing combined with the activity without Mom or Dad. You will be happily surprised how fast we will be able to "turn that frown upside down"! Just "hang in" with patience and persistance and the fear and anxiety goes away after a few lessons learning and knowing the consistancy. Plus having fun playing in the playroom and getting a prize from the Treasure Chest doesn't hurt the matter!

Our teachers are trained to deal with even the most fearful swimmer and we love kids! Our Instructors will stay patient and encouraging but persistent so that all of our swimmers learn to their maximum capacity. Most young children will cry the first few lessons due to not being with their parent. We encourage you to sit in the observation room where you child can begin bonding with his/her instructor without you in sight. If you choose to sit by the pool, you may, but the time needed for bonding between Instructor and Child may increase. If any parent is sitting by the pool and it is affecting their own children or the class as a whole with their learning ability we will request you to sit in the viewing room. On average, the fourth lesson is usually what Aloha calls the "magic" lesson where our younger kiddos stop crying and start having fun! By then they are use to Aloha Aquatic Center, their Teacher, and usually don't cry in lessons but cry when Mom or Dad wants to leave to go home and they can't stay and play anymore!

ALOHA! Where we LOVE our LOCALS!
